Proposals will be selected based on their . . .
- Innovative, yet practical use of technology in the classroom.
- Connections with state and national technology and instructional standards.
- Connection to the conference theme.
- Clear communication of how the content will be shared - all session should be interactive and allow students to share their learning with conference attendees
Please note: If selected, conference registration fees may be waived for:
- two (2) adult presenters
- up to, but no more than, 10 student presenters per presentation
Will my assigned table have access to power and Internet?
Yes and yes! There will be wireless Internet access - the code will be provided at the conference. Additionally, we have worked with the folks at the Raleigh Convention Center to make sure that there will be access to power in the floors below the tables if needed. While we always suggest that you come with all devices and equipment fully charged, if you will be bringing a device that will need to be plugged into a power outlet during your presentation, please let us know as we communicate in the months leading up to the event.
I want to bring more than 10 students, can I?
You may only bring 10 students per presentation. If you'd like to bring more, please consider submitting additional, different, presentation proposals. While the overall space is large, the space allotted to each presentation is not that big. Each presentation will have a table with a skirt, a freestanding backboard (as pictured) and the space in front of it for your students to share their work.
Feel free to explore the gallery of last year's presentations to see what the space looked like in action!
